Jim Phillips spent more than 25 years in the corporate world and answered God’s call to “spend his life on behalf of the poor and needy”.
In 1993 he became the Director of Love Truth Care Ministries, serving the hungry and the poor of Honduras & Central America. In 1997, Jim and his wife Ouida led their first mission team to Honduras.
Now, 20+ years later, by God’s grace they have facilitated over 200 teams and helped establish five ministries to empower Hondurans to serve their people for Christ.
Mauricio Aguilar owns Cold Stone Creamery in Little Rock. Previously, he held executive roles in manufacturing and international business in Latin America and the United States.
He made his first mission trip to Honduras in 2006 and is the co-founder of Project Latin America. His role has been to provide the cultural bridge between the US and Latin America so the teachings of Men’s Fraternity are culturally relevant to the men of Latin America.
Mauricio was involved with the translation of Men’s Fraternity into Spanish and its introduction in Honduras, El Salvador, Colombia and Nicaragua.
“One of my biggest joys in life is seeing the transformation of hearts, minds and souls in Latin American men to become great followers of Jesus Christ, loving husbands and role-model fathers to their kids.”
